RoadmapRoadmap · open showcase
POL's vertical for competitive and recreational sailing: instructors, clubs, members, families — with training, berths, charter and service partners.
Six workstreams
Each module is roadmap. The showcase names them; product code arrives when Giuseppe opens the flow and gates allow it.

RoadmapSailing courses and licence prep. POL prepares; authorities issue.
RoadmapBerth management, rents and subscriptions — when payment primitives are ready.
RoadmapBoats and people. Before the minors privacy gate: adults only (BYOD). Tracking supports; it is not a lifesaving device.
Privacy gateDropshipping / hybrid via POL Market — returns, VAT/OSS, reliable suppliers.
RoadmapConsumes shared POL Meteo: supports decisions; does not authorise departures.
Shared serviceBefore go-live
Storytelling can proceed; minor-tracking code and safety claims cannot.
No tracking, telemetry or ranking of minors before DPIA, parental consent and retention. Phase 0 = adults only.
No claims like “safe because tracked”. Instructor, safety boat and Coast Guard remain.
Courses yes, issuing no. IoT hardware only after certifications; “never change the battery” is a design goal, not a promise.
Two seas, two verticals
Same POL ecosystem, different boundaries: sport/training/recreation vs commercial logistics.
Clubs, instructors, athletes, pleasure charter, training, nautical publishing.
Shipping agency, freight forwarding and bonded warehousing — commercial sea, not pleasure craft.
